Friday Keynote
Angus Watt
 Angus Watt graduated from York University in 1974 with a degree in Political Science, and immediately entered the investment industry. Currently, he is Managing Director, Individual Investor Services, National Bank Financial. His expertise is in assisting with long term Financial Planning, Group Benefits, and Estate Planning. He is a past recipient of the Investment Dealers Association ‘Program of Distinction Award’ for the Prairie Region.
Watt is past Chair and currently a Director, Edmonton Police Foundation, board member of the TELUS Edmonton Community Board and the David Foster & Friends Edmonton Committee 2008. He serves as an advisor to The Canadian Cancer Society, The Hearing Foundation of Canada, and Little Warriors. Previously, Mr. Watt was twice chair of The United Way of Northern Alberta, and also chaired The Minerva Foundation, The Support Network, and The Support Network Foundation. He is a past recipient of the “Paul Harris Fellow”, awarded by the Rotary Club of Canada.
Watt and his team manage over $500,000,000 in assets, have over 120 years of combined market experience, and are experts in Investment Management as well as Insurance and Benefits planning. As Central Alberta’s Business Authority, Mr. Watt broadcasts 62 times per week on Global TV and 630 CHED.

Cameron Herold
 For over 20 years Cameron has been coaching, speaking to, or helping entrepreneurs build companies. He launched BackPocket COO to work with young, fun, entrepreneurial, high growth companies and help make their dreams happen. He is one of the country's most innovative business leaders and was a leading force behind one of the most successful businesses of the decade, 1-800-GOT-JUNK?.
He was Chief Operating Officer, and for just under seven years his innovative business leadership helped enable 1-800-GOT-JUNK? to build a presence in 46 states, 9 provinces, and 4 countries while being ranked the “2nd Best Company to Work for in Canada” by Canadian Business Magazine and “the #1 Company in BC to Work for” twice by BC Business Magazine. During his tenure the company was studied by numerous MBA programs including Queen’s University in Canada & Harvard University.
Cameron Herold helped this leading edge company grow from $2 Million to $105 Million in revenue in six years with no debt or outside shareholders. Prior to 1-800-GOT-JUNK? he had two EO (Entrepreneurs Organization) qualifying companies. From 1998 through 2000 he was VP, Corporate Development at Ubarter.com a division of 900-person firm with a $900 Million market cap based in Seattle. He was also, President of Barter Business Exchange in Vancouver. From 1994 to 1998, Herold was VP, Franchise Development for Coast-to-Coast Franchise Services (Boyd Autobody & Glass).
In these positions over 20 years he gained insight into tried-and-true systems from having been involved in the sale, branding and integration of 450+ franchise locations with three franchisors. He’s worked on the development and deployment of e-commerce and Internet strategies, negotiation of corporate acquisitions and development of numerous strategic partnerships. He has a unique understanding of business and growing companies from having led business areas of Operations, Marketing, Public Relations, Strategic Alliances, Sales, Call Centers and Franchising.

Roman Danylo
 Roman Danylo is a stand-up comic, improviser, actor, and writer. Roman’s one-man show combines these skills in a fast paced, hilarious evening perfect for any occasion. Before every event Roman gathers information from the organizers and customizes a unique show that is tailor-made for the audience. Whether it’s a regular comedy club crowd, Microsoft’s Staff Party, or a Funeral Director’s Luncheon, Roman always gets them laughing.
It’s big time interactive too! Often audience members are invited onto the stage to join Roman in improvised scenarios. Mix together some stand-up and ridiculous character monologues and you get “A Delightful Romp with Roman Danylo!” Roman has been the featured entertainer and Master of Ceremonies for hundreds of corporate functions over the past 20 years.
Roman is the star of Comedy Inc on CTV, and has received two Gemini nominations for his performances. Additionally he has hosted the hit CBC radio show The Debaters, was a regular on The Holmes Show, and is frequently on the Comedy Network. |
