STANDATA Subscription Services

Safety Services and the Safety Codes Council develop Alberta Building Code STANDATA jointly. Some are issued under the authority of the Code or the Safety Codes Act as province-wide variances or interpretations. Others are information bulletins that provide general advice on related matters. To get a copy of past STANDATAs, click here to download them. On the left hand side select the appropriate sector (building, electrical, gas, plumbing, etc).  Next select the version of the STANDATA to download (ie: Director's rulings, Interpretations, Errata's, etc).  To receive an email notification when government publishes newly issued STANDATAs, click here to sign up for the free subscription service.
