CHBA - Three Levels Working for You

The Canadian Home Builders' Association is organized at three levels -- locally, provincially and nationally. All three levels of the CHBA work together to serve our members by keeping you informed, involved and prepared for today's business challenges.

Locally
Local CHBA's offer monthly meetings, newsletters, workshops, access to expert advice, awards programs, networking opportunities, services and activities that provides you the opportunity to make business contacts, gain knowledge and build your visibility with consumers.

Provincially
CHBA - Alberta works with the provincial government and agencies on a wide range of housing matters including:improving building codes and standards, government relations, encouraging workplace health and safety, promoting education, supporting energy efficient housing, providing networking opportunities and more. CHBA - Alberta also presents the annual Conference and Awards of Excellence in Housing.

Nationally
CHBA works with the federal government on issues that affect members-finance policy, taxation and the underground economy are some examples. CHBA collaborates with public and private agencies to promote housing research and demonstration projects, consumer education programs and national marketing initiatives. The national office also provides members with a wide range newsletters, technical and marketing publications, and presents the annual CHBA National Conference and SAM Awards.
