Welcome to CHBA - Alberta BUILD 2011!

 

As a first-time attendee we have put some useful tips together to help you enjoy the event.  This website is a great resource for the conference itinerary, event details and information on activities.  Use these tools to help familiarize yourself prior to arriving in Jasper. 

• Hotel reservations are not included in your registration fee.  It is your responsibility to book your hotel accommodations directly with the Jasper Park Lodge.  It is recommended you confirm your reservations with the hotel one week before the event.
• When registering for BUILD, choose the activities you wish to participate in right away as space is limited.
• Golf does sell out so if this is something you want to do, make sure you select it right away.  Once sold out a waiting list is started and you will be informed on your registration invoice if you are on the waiting list.  You will not be charged until you are removed from the waiting list. 
• Thursday night is the conference theme night and approximately 90% of delegates come in costume.  Check out the Event Details page for this year's theme.
• Ticket Exchange - For both Friday and Saturday dinners, if you would like to reserve your spot instead of trying to find one when you enter the room, turn in your tickets from your event guide at the Ticket Exchange.  Details provided in your event guide.
• There are plenty of activities (workshops, Maligne Canyon Tour ($), Photo Class ($), golf ($) and trade show) to take in not to mention the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge has a salon and spa as well as beautiful scenery to enjoy.
• When you arrive at the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, you will check-in to your hotel room and then proceed to the Conference Registration Desk where you will check-in for BUILD and receive your conference information (event guide, name tags, registration gift, etc).
• Your event guide is your handbook once you get to BUILD and includes a conference itinerary.  Read through it at your leisure for information on events.
• There are change and cancellation fees in place.  Make sure you are aware of them. 
• Cancelling your hotel room is your responsibility.
• The Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge has a variety of services including access to their health spa and babysitting ($).  For more information click here.
