Finalists of the Alberta Awards of Excellence in Housing
Results
from the judging of the 2010 Alberta Awards of Excellence in Housing
presented by RBC Royal Bank are in and Daytona Homes Master Builder is
leading the competition with 5 finalists. Daytona Homes is followed by
tight competition from White Eagle Homes and Sterling Homes each with 3
finalists. This year, the
Edmonton
region leads the competition with 21 finalists, close behind is the
Calgary
region with 18 finalists,
Lethbridge
has 5 finalists followed by
Red Deer
with 4 finalists.
The
Alberta Awards of Excellence in Housing, presented by RBC Royal Bank,
honours the top builders and renovators from across the province during a
special ceremony September 17 in Jasper. 16 Awards will be distributed
to winners of each category and one builder will be recognized as the
winner of the prestigious Ralph Scurfield Builder of the Year. 209
entries were submitted for the competition from across
Alberta
and have since been narrowed down to a select group.

was tight competition in many categories this year and we are excited
to recognize such terrific finalists. I am sure this year’s Alberta
Awards of Excellence in Housing will reveal many exciting new winners.

said CHBA – Alberta President Deep Shergill. Winners of the annual
awards will be announced at The Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, as part of BUILD 2010 CHBA –
Alberta
conference September 17.
