Building Code Errata #5

The 2006 Alberta Building Code was adopted on September 2nd, 2007 by provincial regulation. Since that time, Code users and safety codes officers have identified several typographical and technical errors in the document that needed to be revised, and re-issued in the form of an errata. An errata is defined as an error in a printed work discovered after printing and shown with its correction on a separate sheet. Alberta Municipal Affairs recently issued a STANDATA of this errata detailing the corrections and changes, which can be downloaded by clicking here.

Streamline Newsletter

CHBA - Alberta recognizes that members are inundated with emails on a daily basis.  As such, CHBA - Alberta has decided to partner with the local home builders associations to streamline the process.  The information in To The Point will instead be sent on a regular basis to local Associations for their action and will still be available on the CHBA - Alberta website.  We will launch our new communication next month which will be published periodically for your information.

Findings will provide contractor profiles that better define your sector and markets for owners, government and suppliers. This is a unique initiative that will create detailed insights into the capabilities of your industry. Your participation is appreciated. Click here to take 10 minute online survey.
