Built Green Canada is an industry-driven, voluntary program that promotes “green” building practices to reduce the impact a building has on the environment. The program encourages and enables the use of practices, technologies, and products within the residential building sector that will be more energy efficient, provide healthier indoor air, preserve natural resources, improve durability and reduce maintenance, pollution, waste, and water use.
This national council supports innovation in the housing industry with the goal of creating a market advantage for CHBA builders and renovator members pursing Net Zero Energy performance for buildings. The focus on this group is working on net zero home labeling, marketing and communication, education, and innovative financing.
