Hall of Fame Inductee
CHBA – Alberta Hall of Fame inductions are not done every year because of the significance of the honour. This year’s inductee is Diane Bush of Edmonton. Diane
was the first female President of CHBA – Alberta in nearly 50 years
until today when Sandra Young of Homes by Avi was elected into this
position. Diane was
instrumental in promoting CHBA’s pro-active communications with its
members, many of her tools are still being used today. She became one of the founders of EnerVision, a company set up to manage and promote energy efficient housing programs.
Diane saw potential the benefits for builders and consumers and was
eager to form an organization that would give higher attention and
profile to the green movement.
