The Alberta Awards of Excellence in Housing are provincial housing awards that honour top builder and renovator members as part of the CHBA - Alberta BUILD conference in Jasper September 18, 2009.
 
Awards will be distributed to the winners of each category and one builder will be recognized as the winner of the prestigious Ralph Scurfield Builder of the Year.

Being a finalist or winner of the Alberta Awards of Excellence in Housing also gives your company tremendous recognition, acts as a marketing tool and provides province-wide media exposure.  Extensive media coverage begins when finalists are announced and continues immediately following the awards.  This great exposure hits all target markets thanks to hometrader.ca (Trader Publications), the Calgary Herald, Edmonton Journal, the Calgary and Edmonton Sun, and Source Media Group (New Home Living).  

 

Finalists will be announced on CHBA - Alberta's website, in To The Point and in a news release to media July 29.

 

Winners will be announced September 18 at the Alberta Awards of Excellence in Housing ceremony as part of BUILD 2009 in Jasper.

 

 

What's New? 

• Submissions will be accepted beginning Wednesday, April 29.
• Photos are uploaded online and no hard copy photos are required.
• Floor plans must be submitted on the CD and as a hard copy - not online.
• A copy of the marketing comments, floor plan to be included on a CD with the identical images are all that need to be submitted to the CHBA - Alberta office prior to the deadline.
• Price of submission is to be based on current market price (excluding GST and land).
• Any builder entering more than one submission must include  a signed customer survey contact form to be eligible for the Ralph Scurfield Builder of the Year award.
